Ms. Oliveros is an author, speaker, and international business attorney focused on working with clients in international business, e-commerce, international manufacturing, distribution and marketing of products and services, technology and intellectual property protection, real estate investments and social entrepreneurial endeavors. Ms Oliveros holds a Bachelor’s degree from the University of Florida, a Master’s degree from The University of Texas at Austin, and a Juris Doctor from the University of Arizona College of Law.
Ms. Oliveros is a recipient of the U. S. Department of Commerce Award for Business Leader of the Year for her career in the international corporate world. She has authored numerous articles on international business and e-commerce related topics including “Overview of Global Internet Distribution Laws” and a book entitled International Distribution Issues: Overview Of International Trade And Competitiveness Laws. Ms. Oliveros has developed an international network of business professionals through positions she held as Vice President and General Counsel of FinanCenter, Inc., in Tucson, Arizona, Vice President of Corporate Affairs and General Counsel for Decisions Investment Corp., former owner and operator of Biosphere 2, and General Counsel and Assistant Corporate Secretary at Burr-Brown Corporation, a multi-national electronics manufacturing company (now owned by Texas Instruments) in Tucson, Arizona. Her professional experience includes clients throughout the USA, Central America, South America, Canada, most countries in Europe, the African nations of Kenya, South Africa, Ghana, Nigeria and Burundi; Asian/ Pacific Rim countries of Japan, India, Peoples Republic of China, Hong Kong, Korea, Taiwan, Singapore, Australia, and New Zealand.
During the past thirty-five years Ms Oliveros’ activities and accomplishments include: faculty member for the American Law Institute – American Bar Association (ALI-ABA) Distribution and Marketing seminars; faculty instructor in the Maguire Entrepreneurship Program at The University of Arizona (Tucson, AZ) and the Entrepreneurship Program at Thunderbird – American Graduate School of International Management (Glendale, AZ); faculty member for The Best Brilliant Ideas Business Plan Contest 2010 2011; author of courses on Leading a Non-Profit Organization; instructor and co-author of the Rich Dad Personal Finance Course, which she co-authored for The Rich Dad Company; and founder and author/developer of seminars, workshops, educational materials and coaching programs on Recession Proof Financial Strategies™ and Recession Proof Investment Strategies™. Ms Oliveros is a member and former vice chair (Southern AZ) of the Arizona District Export Council (an appointment by the U.S. Secretary of Commerce), She is past chair of the Arizona World Trade Fair and past chair of the Tucson Metropolitan Chamber of Commerce International Trade Committee. She consults with numerous investors and companies on establishing international distribution channels for products and services, business development, technology and intellectual property, real estate and legal matters and is a frequent speaker at conferences, seminars and webinars.
