Joann MacMaster is a successful serial entrepreneur with over 20 years of experience in new product development and commercialization. She has worked in 25 countries, distributed products in over 90 countries, and held positions as senior executive of three multi-national technology firms based in Europe. Her start-up portfolio includes website translation, software design, network hardware and software, home automation, discrete event simulation, and strategy consulting. She also has 10 years of experience working in higher education; as a Program Director with the University of Arizona McGuire Center for Entrepreneurship, and as President with Cortiva Institute. She is currently the Director of the Arizona Center for Innovation, a nonprofit technology incubator based in Tucson, Arizona, focused on helping entrepreneurs and inventors transform their innovative ideas into successful companies. Joann holds an MBA from Edinburgh University, Scotland.
